WY Guernsey Powerplant Road and Parking Lot Repair   3

Background
The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Wyoming Area Office (WYAO) has a need to provide roadway crack sealing and parking lot seal coating services. The principal components of work include grouting of asphalt and concrete pavement cracks, cleaning of grouted cracks, provision of crack sealant compound, installation of the compound within routed and cleaned cracks, and seal coating of parking lot(s). The Guernsey Dam and Power Plant are located on the North Platte River in Platte County, 7 miles northeast of Guernsey, Wyoming. The roadway areas at the base of the dam and near the picnic area, Guernsey Powerplant, and Reclamation maintenance building need repair by seal coating and grouting of cracks.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide seal coating according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s (WYDOT) specifications provided in section 403 of its “Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction,” 2021 Edition. The locations of repair work are at the Guernsey Dam and Warehouse, Recreation area, and Power Plant area.
The Contractor shall submit certification that the sealant complies with WYDOT regulations prior to proceeding with the project work. The Contractor shall clean cracks, seal coat and grout cracks, provide and install crack sealant compound to the grouted and cleaned cracks. The contractor shall not work in the rain. Sealant shall not be installed in cracks where water is present.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is within 90 days of Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The locations of repair work are at the Guernsey Dam and Warehouse, Recreation area, and Power Plant area.
