Wa Willard NFH Roof & Quarters 1&3 Repairs

Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is seeking to conduct market research for the Willard National Fish Hatchery located in Cook, Washington. The goal of this contract is to identify potential sources for the repair and modification of residences Quarters #1 and #3, specifically targeting structural repairs to the Gable Barge rafters and the replacement of vertical beams that support the soffit and roof structure.

This synopsis serves as a preliminary step to determine if the requirement can be set aside for small businesses or other socioeconomic programs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing an updated work plan and confirming the scope of work and on-site conditions with the Project Leader or their delegate. The tasks include:

- Coordinating dumpsters, material storage, and other provisions;
- Removing gutters, siding, and soffit while ensuring they are not damaged for reinstallation;
- Inspecting Gable Barge Rafters for wood rot and replacing affected areas;
- Inspecting Fascia boards for wood rot and replacing them;
- Performing touch-up painting to match adjacent surfaces.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance for this project is 120 days.
