The contract is for UPS and Battery Maintenance at the Frank Hagel Federal Building in Richmond, CA. The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to contractor questions.

Work Details
The objective of this contract is to ensure fully functional and reliable backup electrical power for critical data center, security, and telecommunications systems at the Frank Hagel Federal Building. The contract includes providing Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) maintenance services, battery replacement, and optional additional services. The Contractor shall perform preventive maintenance for the Uninterruptible Power Supplies and associated batteries, including annual maintenance, battery replacement, and optional additional services. The Contractor shall provide all necessary supervision, labor, testing, materials, equipment, and supplies to perform these tasks.
The contract also includes regulatory compliance requirements such as complying with all relevant Federal, State of California, and local laws, regulations, and codes in the performance of the work.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base year is from September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024. There is an option year from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025. Additionally, there is a six-month extension option from September 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services shall be performed at the Frank Hagel Federal Building located at 1221 Nevin Ave., Richmond, CA 94801-3123.
