Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, is issuing this solicitation for the Trinity River Division GSU Transformer Replacements. The agency's mission involves managing water resources and providing reliable power generation.

This contract aims to replace transformers at multiple powerplant locations to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the replacement of GSU transformers at three specific sites:
- Spring Creek Powerplant (approximately 6 miles northwest of Redding, CA)
- Judge Francis Carr Powerplant (approximately 12 miles northwest of Redding, CA)
- Trinity Powerplant (approximately 30 miles northwest of Redding, CA).

The estimated price range for this project is between $35 million and $50 million. The contractor must furnish any required performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 7 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within a timeframe of 19 to 50 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Spring Creek Powerplant, Judge Francis Carr Powerplant, and Trinity Powerplant, all located in Shasta County and Trinity County, California.
