Rehabilitation of Federal Hatchery Road and Parking Areas
The purpose of Amendment 1 is to provide clarifications to the proposed work, as a result of the site layout/stakeout. Please see the attachment for changes to the Statement of Work and for a link to a folder containing site photos. The quote deadline is also extended to 9/2/2025.

The US Fish and Wildlife Service Erwin National Fish Hatchery located in Unicoi County, Tennessee, has a requirement for rehabilitation of federal hatchery road and parking areas. The project consists of the milling (partial removal of deteriorated roadway surface), repair of underlying cracks, overlay (resurfacing with new asphalt), and seal coat (protective surface layer) application over approximately 4,000 square yards of roadway and parking lots.

Background
The US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is issuing a requirement for the rehabilitation of federal hatchery road and parking areas at the Erwin National Fish Hatchery located in Unicoi County, Tennessee. The mission of the USFWS is to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. The goal of this contract is to restore critical infrastructure to support the hatchery's operations.

Work Details
The project involves several construction tasks including: milling (partial removal of deteriorated roadway surface), repair of underlying cracks, overlay (resurfacing with new asphalt), and seal coat (protective surface layer) application over approximately 4,000 square yards of roadway and parking lots.

- Route #900 (Visitor Parking)
- Route #901 (Overflow Parking)
- Route #902 (Museum Parking).
