Background
The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Region 10 - California-Great Basin Region Acquisitions Office, Sacramento, CA intends to issue a solicitation for a large construction project, Trinity River Division GSU Transformer Replacement. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is posting a synopsis for a construction contract to supply and install nine (9) single-phase, outdoor, step-up transformers with specific characteristics. The principal components of work include supplying, removing, disposing, installing, and commissioning three (3) Generator Step-Up (GSU) power transformers for in-service operation at each power plant.
