Description

STLI-256938: Rehabilitate Terreplein at Fort Wood (GAOA), Statue of Liberty National Monument, Liberty Island, New York County, NY - 140P2022R0041. The National Park Service has an upcoming requirement consisting of rehabilitation four levels of the Fort Wood terreplein; below ground level (1P), Terreplein (2P), next tier (2.5P), top tier (3P). This project will address ongoing deterioration and provide long-term protection to the Terreplein and vertical surfaces of the historic Fort Wood, which serves as the base for the Statue of Liberty. This is a pre-solicitation announcement, not a formal solicitation. Please see the attachment for further information regarding this requirement.
Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), Denver Service Center (DSC), will be soliciting proposals on a full and open basis from all interested businesses having the capability to perform the work described below. This is a pre-solicitation announcement, not a formal solicitation.

Work Details
The project involves rehabilitating four levels of the Fort Wood terreplein; below ground level (1P), Terreplein (2P), next tier (2.5P), top tier (3P). Work includes removal and replacement of pavers and waterproofing on the exterior levels of Fort Wood, repairs to halt or prevent leaks and water infiltration, preserving the fort’s structural elements, enhancing visitor access, and replacing the walking surface to improve both drainage and accessibility.
