Background
The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), part of the U.S. Department of Energy, is seeking bids for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide construction services related to steel pole foundations for substation and transmission line structures.

This contract aims to support the agency's mission in the Upper Great Plains and Rocky Mountain Regions, ensuring reliable power transmission infrastructure. The solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various construction tasks including:
1. Mobilization and preparatory work related to steel poles and fixtures;
2. Miscellaneous sitework associated with the installation of steel poles;
3. Concrete foundations for government-furnished base-plated transmission line steel pole structures.

The initial task order magnitude is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000, with a maximum contract limit of $5 million over the performance period.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this IDIQ contract is 36 months from the date of award.

Construction projects will take place at various locations in the Upper Great Plains and Rocky Mountain Regions.
