Sources Sought for the Hyrum Dam Spillway Replacement. Please see attachment for full details.
Background
The United States Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Upper Colorado Basin Region, is conducting market research in accordance with Part 10 to identify small business firms who would be interested in and have the ability to serve as the prime contractor on the Hyrum Dam Spillway Replacement project. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and DOES NOT serve to bind the U.S. Government in any way. Interested parties shall not be reimbursed for any costs associated with preparation of their responses.

Work Details
The work associated with the Hyrum Dam Spillway Replacement Project will take place approximately 9 miles southwest of Logan, Utah in Cache County, Utah. The overall work is for the construction of a new spillway and the removal of the existing spillway. This includes, but isn’t limited to: removal and control of water, construction of a new reinforced concrete spillway, riprap outlet channel, riprap inlet area, associated mechanical and electrical features, associated drainage systems, associated foundation aggregate piers, roadway bridge, gate hoist structure and equipment, 3 radial gates, dike, two new inverted siphons for irrigation canals, administrative access road and drainage, roadway realignment, and excavation and removal of the existing spillway structure.

The anticipated performance period is December 2024 through December 2027.
