Background
The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) has a requirement to replace the existing septic system at Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in Alamosa County, Colorado. The current septic system is past its life expectancy, necessitating this project.

The contract will be awarded based on a best value lowest price technically acceptable evaluation, and it is specifically set aside for small businesses.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the replacement of the septic system at Monte Vista NWR. This includes all necessary construction tasks associated with the installation of a new septic system, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

The project magnitude is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The contractor must furnish any required performance and payment bonds, with a 20% bid bond and a 100% payment bond required. The period of performance for this contract is from September 1, 2024, to October 31, 2024. The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award notice to proceed and complete it within 60 calendar days.
