This is a solicitation for SEKI 317446 Rehabilitate Ash Mountain Wastewater Facility
Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), Denver Service Center (DSC), is soliciting proposals on a full and open (unrestricted) basis from all interested businesses having the capability to perform the work described below. The solicitation will be issued electronically. Vendors can search for opportunities and award history without registering. Interested vendors and plan holders are required to visit the website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the synopsis or solicitation documents. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with the DOI are required to have an active registration. You are also required to have a DUNS number in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. This pre-solicitation announcement is not a solicitation document, but pre-notice of an upcoming solicitation.

Work Details
This project is located in the Ash Mountain developed area of Sequoia National Park, will rehabilitate and replace critical components of the wastewater treatment facilities including two pump stations and controls, the associated signage, fencing, access road, and electrical and monitoring systems.
It will replace the deteriorated headworks and overflow, replace the chlorination system, and rehabilitate the deteriorated treatment dosing building and deteriorated disposal fields.
The proposed project includes but is not limited to equipment replacement of all electrical components including controls, pumps, headworks, and valves to meet new system needs; treatment system replacement; storage tank installation (100,000 gallon) similar to RTFs, partially buried in existing lagoon area with the top of the tank approximately 15 ft above finished grade; control building: new 16’36’ controls building designed to blend with the historic landscape; access road: provide grade and width needed for safe access of construction equipment and routine operations; imported materials: materials needed include pumps, crushed stone, asphalt, concrete, electrical conduit and wire; waste disposal: existing lagoon liners will be disposed of; tools and equipment: heavy equipment will be used during implementation including but not limited to: full-size excavator, mini excavator, asphalt trucks, pavers, concrete trucks, roller, skid steer; access: a temporary all-weather access road will be constructed from the existing headworks structure down to the edge of the southwestern pond to allow access for the storage tank construction.
