This Amendment 0002 provides the sign-in sheet and notes from the recent May 22, 2024 site visit, answers to all questions received to date, provides revised Specifications, Drawings, and Bid Schedule, provides 1966 and 1988 As-builts, incorporates a recent wage modification, provides various updates to provisions and clauses, and extends the due date for proposals through 3:00 p.m. PDT on Monday, June 17, 2024.

SITE VISIT INFORMATION: A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. RSVP to Brian Crowell, Engineering Project Manager, Redwood National and State Parks, at brian_crowell@nps.gov or 707-951-1936. While not mandatory, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. See Section L of the RFP for detailed information about the site visit, including meeting location.

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) at Redwood National and State Parks, located within Del Norte County, California, has a requirement for the removal and replacement of an existing 100,000-gallon water storage tank. The water tank serves the Mill Creek Campground and several adjacent park structures. The project is located at the Mill Creek Campground in Redwood State Park, in Del Norte County, California. Access to the site is off of U.S. Highway 101, approximately 4 miles south of the City of Crescent City.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, testing, and supplies necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation. All work shall be performed local, state, and federal laws.
The project range is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is from August 1, 2024 to March 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Mill Creek Campground in Redwood State Park, Del Norte County, California.
