The National Park Service (NPS), Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, is issuing combined sol/synopsis to Replace roofs on Headquarters, IT building and ODell House. HQs and IT Building are located at 91 Bartlett Park rd., Middlesboro, KY, and the ODell House is located at 256 N Cumberland Dr, Ewing, VA, 24248.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price
100% small business set-aside procurement.

In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
Period of Performance - 90 days from NTP approx. 7/1/2024 to 12/30/2024
SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested Offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD.

Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, headquartered in Middlesboro, KY, requires the replacement of asphalt shingle roofs on three buildings: the Headquarters Building, IT Building, and O'Dell House. The buildings are not historic structures and do not fall under the protection of The Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials for the removal and installation of asphalt shingles, including but not limited to: removal and disposal of existing asphalt shingles and underlayment, repair or replacement of damaged or rotted sections of wood sheathing, installation of roofing underlayment, and installation of new architect-style asphalt shingles. The color of the new shingles must match as closely as possible to the existing shingles and be approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is 90 days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP), approximately from July 1, 2024, to December 30, 2024.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at three locations: 91 Bartlett Park Rd., Middlesboro, KY for the Headquarters and IT Building; and 256 N Cumberland Dr., Ewing, VA 24248 for the O'Dell House.
