SOLICITATION NOTICE:
The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Exterior and Interior Painting and Repairs of the Au Sable Lighthouse Tower project for the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising, MI. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to: Complete interior and exterior painting and repairs. All loose paint and rust must be removed down to sound surface. All paints are to match existing colors to not change appearance of historic light tower. Exterior and Interior building work as follows: Preparation and painting of exterior surfaces on the Au Sable Lighthouse along with preparation and painting of the interior surface and interior windows.

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000
TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded.
EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Prior Experience, and Price
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238320, and the size standard is $19 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.
SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.
REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.

Background
The National Park Service, Midwest Region - Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office (NPS, MWR - Ohio MABO) has issued a solicitation for the repair and repaint of the Au Sable Lighthouse. The project involves prepping and painting the interior and exterior surfaces of the lighthouse, including whitewash and wood/concrete window surfaces, as well as exterior painting of stone, brick, and metal surfaces.

Work Details
The project will include prepping and painting of the interior and exterior surfaces of the Au Sable Light Station. This work will include all exterior and interior whitewash and wood/concrete windows surfaces to include frames, sashes, sills, and arched lintels. Work will also include the exterior painting of all stone, brick, and metal surfaces of the tour.

Period of Performance
The performance period is mandatory negotiable. The delivery is required 90 days after notice to proceed.
