Background
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, California Great Basin Region is hosting a two-day industry event for the B.F. Sisk Dam (SOD) Modifications Phase II Project. The purpose of this event is to improve the industry’s understanding of Reclamation’s upcoming requirement, answer questions on the BF Sisk Dam SOD Phase II project, and solicit feedback from industry as part of their market research.

Work Details
The worksite is located approximately twelve (12) miles west of Los Banos, California in Merced County. The main components of work include constructing shear keys at North Valley Section (NVS) and Slope Wash (SW)165, constructing berms at three separate locations along the dam, developing specific areas to provide materials for use as part of this contract, providing infrastructure for transporting materials, constructing shear key and downstream stability berms, maintaining Government Field Office and Government Laboratory Facility with utilities, and installing and monitoring environmental mitigation measures and protection of species.

Period of Performance
The estimated duration for Phase 2 construction is revised from the 730 days previously listed in the Sources Sought Notice posted on May 20, 2024, to an estimated 1,095 calendar days.
