Background
The United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) is seeking to conduct market research for a pavement preservation project at three Missouri National Parks: Ozark National Scenic Riverway (OZAR), George Washington Carver National Historic Site (GWCA), and Wilsons Creek National Battlefield.

The goal of this contract is to maintain and preserve the integrity of the park roads and parking lots, ensuring minimal disruption to visitors while enhancing the overall visitor experience. The anticipated construction magnitude exceeds $10 million.

Work Details
The project involves various pavement preservation tasks including seal coat application, milling and overlaying, and full depth replacement of asphalt surfaces.

Specific work includes: crack sealing, chip sealing, patching, joint and crack repair, and milling & overlay on main park roads, parking areas, secondary roads, and administrative roads throughout each park.

Construction activities must be scheduled to minimize visitor impact as the parks will remain open during the work. Protective measures are required to ensure that surrounding areas remain undisturbed due to the historic/natural/cultural significance of the sites.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is 365 calendar days, which includes potential weather-related shutdowns. Winter construction may be required if temperatures permit.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will take place at three locations in Missouri: Ozark National Scenic Riverway (OZAR), George Washington Carver National Historic Site (GWCA), and Wilsons Creek National Battlefield.
