ORPI 240841 Replace Primary Water System for Maint   4

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of the primary water system at the Yampa District Multi-Operations Facility. The existing water distribution system utilizes asbestos-cement (AC) pipe, which necessitates improvements to ensure safety and compliance with current standards.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the water distribution infrastructure to support ongoing operations within the district.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1) Replace the existing primary water system, including the removal and disposal of asbestos-cement piping;
2) Demolish existing structures as part of the project scope;
3) Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding construction and environmental safety;
4) Provide all necessary performance and payment bonds as required;
5) Submit proposals in accordance with sections B through J of the solicitation, including any amendments noted in section L.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed and complete all work within 577 calendar days.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Yampa District Multi-Operations Facility, located in Colorado.
