Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the rehabilitation of the Hurricane Ridge Water System located in Olympic National Park. The project aims to enhance the water distribution system and ensure its reliability and efficiency, aligning with NPS's mission to preserve natural resources while providing quality services to park visitors.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and other necessary items to complete the work as specified in the attached documents. Key tasks include:

1. Replacement of the water distribution system;
2. Rehabilitation of water system control and water storage tank;
3. Demolition of surface water facilities (optional);
4. Installation of remote monitoring systems (optional).

The project will require adherence to specific guidelines during peak visitation periods at Hurricane Ridge to minimize disruption to park operations and visitor access.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is from April 1, 2026, to October 18, 2026, with a mandatory completion timeframe of 200 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Hurricane Ridge within Olympic National Park, located in Port Angeles, Washington.
