Background
The Indian Education Acquisition Office is issuing this solicitation for a roof replacement project at the Cottonwood Day School, located in Chinle, AZ. The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and improvement of educational facilities under the Bureau of Indian Education, aligning with their mission to provide quality education to Native American students.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, supervision, materials, equipment, services, and facilities to perform the roof replacement at Cottonwood Day School. Specific tasks include:

- Clearing the rooftop of debris;
- Cutting or slicing into the existing TPO membrane for proper airflow;
- Removing old TPO flashing from walls and pipes;
- Repairing or replacing existing gutters and metal drip edges as necessary;
- Installing a new TPO roof system per manufacturer specifications;
- Providing and installing a protective mat over the existing roof;
- Installing a Mule hide 60 mil TPO single-ply roofing system;
- Installing new equipment curb flashings, stack flashings, and scuppers as needed;
- Ensuring base flashing goes up and over walls under existing coping caps;
- Cleaning up and removing all roofing debris caused by construction;
- Providing a one-year contractor warranty along with a 20-year manufacturer warranty with wind uplift.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is set for sixty (60) calendar days from the notice to proceed (NTP), which will be issued after the kickoff/pre-construction meeting.
