Background
The Bureau of Reclamation’s Missouri Basin Regional Office intends to solicit a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Fresno Dam Modification, located in Northern Montana approximately 15 miles northwest of Havre, Montana, in Hill County. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The overall period of performance is anticipated to be around 1,095 calendar days. The contractor who receives the award is required to commence work within 10 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.

Work Details
The principle features of work include clearing, grubbing, and stripping of embankment and borrow areas; installing and operating dewatering and unwatering systems; excavating existing dam embankment; constructing new vertical sand trench using a biopolymer supported trench; furnishing and installing geotextile; constructing cast-in-place concrete or furnishing precast support bases for toe drain inspection wells; furnishing and installing HDPE toe drainpipes, inspection wells, and cleanouts; excavating, screening, and delivering borrow material for embankment buttress fill; constructing new filter and drain embankment buttress fill; furnishing and installing flumes and weir boxes; restoring all ground disturbance within construction use area; furnishing and placing asphalt pavement along crest of dam and areas of Fresno Reservoir Road damaged from hauling activities.

Period of Performance
The overall period of performance is anticipated to be around 1,095 calendar days.
The period of performance is inclusive of receipt and acceptance of all submittals by the Bureau of Reclamation, as well as final cleanup.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Fresno Dam located in Northern Montana approximately 15 miles northwest of Havre, Montana, in Hill County.
