Background
The contract is a Simplified Acquisition of Basic Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract for construction services. It is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contractor provides 'on call' construction services for small to medium sized construction projects. The work under this IDIQ contract does not require or include professional architect or engineering services, such as stamped drawings.

Work Details
The primary area of coverage will be National Park Service (NPS) Parks and Park Units located in the state of Colorado and includes Capulin Volcano National Monument in New Mexico.
The contract period of performance is for a 1 year base period from date of contract award, and 4 consecutive, one-year option periods. Task orders may be placed through the SABER contract throughout the base period, and each exercised option period. Two types of task orders may be issued under this SABER contract: Standard Task Orders and Shelved Task Orders. All negotiated and accepted proposal elements, line items and pricing for standard task orders shall be guaranteed by the SABER Contractor for 60 calendar days. All negotiated and accepted proposal elements, line items and pricing for shelved task orders shall be guaranteed by the SABER Contractor for 365 calendar days.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is for a 1 year base period from date of contract award, and 4 consecutive, one-year option periods.
