Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, part of the United States Department of the Interior, is conducting market research for a construction contract related to the Hungry Horse Chip Seal project. The goal is to identify capable contractors who can provide necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the project. This initiative aims to support the agency's mission of managing water resources and infrastructure effectively.

Work Details
The construction tasks involved in the Hungry Horse Chip Seal project include:
1. Debris removal behind jersey barriers;
2. Asphalt repair and chip seal;
3. Road widening at gate sensor;
4. Road widening at jersey barriers;
5. Curve widening;
6. Culvert extension;
7. Crack repair at Visitor Center;
8. Crack sealing at Visitor Center;
9. Edge milling at Visitor Center;
10. Chip seal parking areas at Visitor Center.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance is anticipated to be approximately 4.5 months, with an award expected in FY 27.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Hungry Horse Dam Visitor Center parking areas and along the Hungry Horse Dam Lower Road.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate their capability to manage complex requirements and provide past performance information on similar projects completed within the last 5-8 years. They are required to submit their construction bonding levels and any relevant certifications such as Small Business or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
