Background
The National Park Service (NPS), part of the Department of Interior (DOI), is seeking proposals for the George Washington Memorial Park Bridge and Pavement Preservation project (GWMP 335115). This project aims to support the preservation and maintenance of roads and bridges within the park, ensuring safety and longevity of infrastructure. The solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside, encouraging participation from small businesses capable of fulfilling the contract requirements.

Work Details
The scope of services includes comprehensive management, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies, technical expertise, and other incidental services necessary for road and bridge preservation and maintenance. Key tasks include:

1) Bridge Preservation, Preventive Maintenance, and Repair Activities:
- Concrete: Deck cleaning and repair.
- Deck Joints and Deck Joint Seals: Cleaning, repair, removal/replacement.
- Scupper and Drainage: Cleaning, repair, removal/replacement.
- Bearings/Substructures: Restoration including cleaning, lubrication, resetting, replacement; substructure concrete patch/repair; protective coating.
- Guardrails/Railings: Repair, removal/replacement, installation.
- Other Bridge Activities: Seal/patch/repair structural/non-structural elements; fatigue crack mitigation; stone masonry repair; scour countermeasures; timber repair; drainage cleaning/repair/installation.
- Bridge Surroundings: Vegetation clearing/removal; erosion control; guardrail work; limited roadway signage.

2) Roadway Preservation, Preventive Maintenance, Repair, and Safety Activities:
- Asphalt pavement preservation (crack sealing, chip sealing, microsurfacing).
- Pavement marking removal/installation.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance is 416 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed.
