Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for GAOA TETON DAM RECONSTRUCTION in accordance with drawings and specifications. The project is located at the Teton Dam located in Carbon County, approximately 13 miles west of Rawlins, WY.
Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), part of the United States Department of the Interior, is seeking contractors for the GAOA Teton Dam Reconstruction project. This project aims to repair the Teton Dam located in Carbon County, approximately 13 miles west of Rawlins, WY. The BLM's mission includes managing public lands for various uses while ensuring their sustainability and protection.

Work Details
The construction requirement includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to repair the Teton Dam. Major tasks include:

1) Dewatering the reservoir and construction area;
2) Excavating part of the existing dam embankment and foundation to remove old outlet works structures and construct new ones;
3) Stripping vegetation from the upstream and downstream surfaces of the dam embankment;
4) Reconstructing the dam embankment with compacted fill from onsite sources, lime amended fill, imported riprap with bedding, sand and gravel for internal features, and constructing a toe drain system with various components;
5) Constructing new outlet works including a precast concrete tower, reinforced concrete pipe conduit, gated low-level inlet structures, and a grouted riprap stilling basin;
6) Excavation and grading for spillway and training dike;
7) Placing imported road gravel surfacing along the dam crest;
8) Reclaiming disturbed areas through soil preparation and seeding.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance is 365 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed, anticipated from September 2025 through September 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Teton Dam in Carbon County, approximately 13 miles west of Rawlins, WY.
