Background
The GAOA Melstone Dam Reconstruction project is issued by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) as part of their mission to manage public lands for various uses while ensuring environmental protection.

The goal of this contract is to reconstruct the Melstone Dam in Montana, which is critical for water management and flood control in the region. This solicitation is an electronic request for proposal for construction at Melstone Dam, with complete specifications and drawings available.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for the reconstruction of the Melstone Dam. This includes tasks such as:

- Demolition of existing structures
- Excavation
- Installation of reinforced concrete pipes (RCP)
- Construction of outlet conduit towers/risers
- Concrete work
- Major excavation and backfill
- Muck excavation
- Installation of sand filter drains and energy dissipation basins (stilling basins)
- Riprap installation
- Final grading with survey-grade equipment
- Topsoiling and restoration.

The contractor must also adhere to safety regulations and quality control plans throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and must complete it within 350 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Melstone Dam located in Musselshell County, Montana.
