Background
The National Park Service, part of the Department of the Interior, is issuing a contract for the replacement of HVAC and mechanical ventilation systems in four buildings located in the Palisades District of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park. The goal of this contract is to enhance the functionality and efficiency of these systems to support the park's operations.

Work Details
The work includes the removal of existing HVAC systems and the furnishing and installation of complete replacement HVAC and ventilation systems across four buildings. This encompasses associated electrical work, controls installation, testing and balancing, and restoration of finishes.

The specific sites include:
1) Great Falls area (Davis House and carpentry shop), Montgomery County, Maryland;
2) Fletchers Cove area (snack bar and boathouse), Washington, DC.

Period of Performance
120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid guarantee with each bid. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds before receiving the Notice to Proceed. Bidders are encouraged to attend a site visit that will be announced in the Invitation for Bids.
