Description

CHOH FY25 FLETCHERS COVE DREDGING
Background
The National Park Service, part of the Department of Interior, is seeking proposals for construction work related to dredging at Fletcher’s Cove within the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park in Washington, DC. The goal of this contract is to remove sedimentation that has accumulated since the last dredging event to improve boating access.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:

1) Removing sedimentation that has built up to approximately 2 feet mean low water (MLW) and disposing of it at an offsite facility.

2) Conducting debris removal resulting from flooding.

3) Reconfiguring docks to facilitate better boating access.

Period of Performance
The contract duration is set for 100 calendar days following the notice to proceed.
