Background
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) has identified a need for construction work at the Brackish Groundwater National Desalination Research Facility (BGNDRF) located in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The facility's existing sidewalks and driveways have deteriorated due to roof runoff, prompting the need for repairs to ensure safety and functionality.

The goal of this contract is to demolish a small concrete driveway and construct new heavy-duty sidewalk and driveway along the southern elevation of the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the demolition of the existing concrete driveway and the construction of new heavy-duty sidewalk and driveway. The work must adhere to standards set by various organizations including the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and ASTM.

Specific tasks include:
- Demolition of existing concrete structures
- Construction of new concrete sidewalk and driveway
- Compliance with ACI standards for tolerances, durability, mixing, transporting, and placing concrete
- Adherence to safety regulations as outlined by OSHA
- Use of specified materials that meet ASTM standards for quality and performance.
