BF SISK SAFETY OF DAMS (SOD) MODFICATIONS, PHASE I
Background
The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Region 10 - California-Great Basin Region Acquisitions Office, Sacramento, CA intends to issue a solicitation for a construction project, BF Sisk Safety of Dam (SOD) Modifications. The acquisition will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The estimated cost of this project is between $100 Million and $500 Million.

Work Details
PRINCIPAL COMPONENTS OF WORK
1. Construct shear keys and berms at each of three separate locations along the dam: SW36, SW145, and SW180. Refer to the drawings.
2. Remove a portion of the spillway chute and replace with conduit section. Cover with earthen materials to construct a berm.
3. Develop Basalt Hill Quarry and Borrow Area 14 to provide materials for use as part of this contract.

Period of Performance
The performance period is estimated to be three (3) to four (4) years to complete.

Place of Performance
The place of performance is located approximately twelve (12) miles west of Lost Banos, California in Merced County.
