B.F. Sisk Dam SOD Modifications, Phase II   4

Background
The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), Region 10 California Great Basin Region Construction Acquisitions Office, Sacramento, CA, is conducting market research to determine potential sources for a large construction project, B.F. Sisk Dam (SOD) Modifications, Phase II. The estimated cost of this procurement is $200 Million - $400 Million. The worksite is located approximately twelve (12) miles west of Los Banos, California in Merced County.

Work Details
The principle components of work include: constructing shear keys at North Valley Section (NVS) and Slope Wash (SW)165, constructing berms at three separate locations along the dam: SW165, NVS, and South Valley Section (SVS), developing Basalt Hill Quarry, Borrow Area 14, Borrow Area 12, and Borrow Area 6 to provide materials for use as part of this contract, providing infrastructure for transporting materials, maintaining Government Field Office and Government Laboratory Facility with utilities, installation and monitoring of environmental mitigation measures and protection of species.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this requirement is estimated to be 730 calendar days.

The worksite is located approximately twelve (12) miles west of Los Banos, California in Merced County.
