Asphalt Parking Lot for Concho Agency

Background
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Justice Services, is seeking to construct an asphalt parking lot for the Concho Agency located in El Reno, Oklahoma. The project aims to enhance accessibility and functionality for the agency's operations, ensuring compliance with ADA requirements. This contract is set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE).

Work Details
The scope of work includes the installation of approximately 4,650 square feet of hot mix asphalt (2-1/2 inches thick) over an existing gravel parking lot. The project will also involve:

1) Installation of curb and gutter to manage water flow;
2) Strip layout for the parking area;
3) Creation of two handicap stalls for accessible vans;
4) Installation of two posts along with one regular handicap sign and one van accessible reserved parking sign.

The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for the completion of the project. Additionally, they must ensure all work areas are cleaned daily and that waste is disposed of properly. The contractor must apply one coat of primer and two coats of acrylic-based paint specifically designed for asphalt, ensuring that the striping layout meets ADA standards. All signs must be installed at a height of 60 inches from the parking surface with wet poured concrete footers.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is 30 days after receipt of order (ARO).

The construction will take place at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services, Concho Agency, located at 1435 East Black Kettle Blvd, El Reno, Oklahoma, Canadian County.
