Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, part of the Department of the Interior, is issuing this solicitation for the Arroyo Canal Fish Screen/Sack Dam Fish Passage Project. The mission of the Bureau is to manage water resources in the western United States. This project aims to improve fish passage at Sack Dam on the San Joaquin River, which is crucial for local aquatic ecosystems.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for construction tasks related to the repair or alteration of dams, specifically focusing on enhancing fish passage capabilities at Sack Dam.

The work site is located approximately 24 miles west of Madera, California, in Madera and Fresno Counties. The magnitude of construction for this project is estimated between $100,000,000 and $200,000,000. The contractor must furnish any required performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award.

The contract will be performed from July 24, 2025, to July 8, 2028.
