Award Amount: $30,718,996
Description: The contract is awarded to Conrad Shipyard LLC (Conrad) for Detail, Development, and Construction
(DD&C) of an YRBM, designated YRBM 67. The award supports the urgent requirement of delivering additional barge
to the fleet supporting the crucial need for Quality of Service (QoS).
Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price
Award Date: 02/17/2026
Period of Performance: 02/17/2026 06/30/2028

Justification: This contract was awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C 3204(b), YRBMs
are highly specialized equipment originally developed and produced by the incumbent, Conrad, and award to another source would likely result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the Navy's requirement.
Prospect Competition: The Government does plan to pursue a competitive process for upcoming YRBMs in the
future.
