YFO-CCAO Security Patrols   2

Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Cascades Area Office (CCAO) has a requirement for security guard services at its facilities located at 1917 Marsh Road, Yakima, WA. This includes the CCAO, Yakima Field Office (YFO), Roza Power Plant, and surrounding areas.

The goal of this contract is to ensure a visible security presence to deter vandalism, detect unauthorized access, and respond to potential threats in the area, which encompasses approximately 5 acres.

Work Details
The contractor will provide unarmed security services including:
1. One unarmed guard for eight continuous hours during non-business hours (2100 to 0500 PST), seven days a week including federal holidays.
2. Daily patrols and monitoring of the secured complex which is protected by perimeter fencing with limited access points.
3. Reporting any suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts.
4. Providing incident reports for breaches of security or other significant occurrences.
5. If required during elevated security conditions, providing armed guards as directed by the Bureau of Reclamation.
6. Ensuring all guards are certified and licensed according to local, state, and federal regulations.
7. Maintaining professional conduct and ensuring contractor personnel are identifiable as agency contractors.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2030 with four optional renewal periods of one year each.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be at the Bureau of Reclamation facilities located at 1917 Marsh Road, Yakima, WA.
