Description

The Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA) is hereby issuing an RFP on behalf of the Support Ships, Boats, and Craft Program Office (PMS 325), for the detail design and construction of up to eight (8) Yard Repair, Berthing and Messing (YRBM) berthing barges. One (1) craft will be awarded initially with options for seven (7) additional craft.

This procurement is being solicited as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside pursuant to FAR 19.5. Special Notice N0002420R2253 was previously posted to the beta.sam.gov website. The RFP and associated attachments in this announcement supersede all previous documents made available to the public.

Background
The Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA) is issuing an RFP on behalf of the Support Ships, Boats, and Craft Program Office (PMS 325) for the detail design and construction of up to eight (8) Yard Repair, Berthing and Messing (YRBM) berthing barges. The procurement is being solicited as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside pursuant to 19.5.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all resources necessary to perform the Detail Design and Construction of the YRBM craft at the Contractor’s facilities. The Contractor shall perform the technical design, construction, testing, delivery, and management for the YRBM craft. The Contractor shall identify and take steps to correct all problems and potential problems arising during contract performance which could impact the on-schedule completion of the YRBM craft.

Place of Performance
The place of performance for the contract is at the Contractor’s facilities.
