Background
The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) Outpatient Surgery Department provides various outpatient surgery services for veteran patients. Due to increasing demand, the department requires construction services to convert existing administrative spaces into examination rooms, as current facilities lack necessary plumbing fixtures and exam lights.

This initiative aims to enhance patient care for veterans by reconfiguring these spaces into standardized general-purpose exam rooms.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Reconfigure existing administrative spaces into standardized exam rooms, including installation of necessary plumbing fixtures and exam lights.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and VA regulations during construction.
3. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the project.
4. Prepare any necessary construction documents and provide professional engineering services as needed.
5. Manage site conditions effectively to minimize disruption to ongoing medical operations at the facility.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 120 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will take place at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System campus located at 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086.
