The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration intends to issue a solicitation entitled, Cedar City Rural Initiative , on or about March 10, 2022, unless additional notice is given, or this notice is modified or cancelled, the full solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Contract Opportunities at SAM.gov. This acquisition will be solicited as an Invitation for Bid and will be solicited as a 100% Small Business set-aside. This project will be a Firm-Fixed Price Construction contract that will include Davis-Bacon Wages. The Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials, equipment, and services and perform and complete all work for Cedar City National Cemetery Rural Initiative Cemetery Development as required by drawings and specifications. The period of performance is 448 calendar days to complete the work from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The disclosure of magnitude for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NAICS is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the business size standard is $39.5 Million. To be eligible for award, firms must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov and have completed online Representations and Certifications prior to contract award.
