General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, Malcolm Randall VAMC has a requirement to provide construction services for the replacement of Air Handling Unit (AHU) 2 and AHU 3, and their associated systems in response to a detailed Feasibility Study by Applied Engineering Solutions dated March 16, 2016. There will be complete ceiling demolition and replacement to allow for new horizontal mechanical distribution systems. It will improve the existing air conditioning system with new technologies in the Main Building at the Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Gainesville, FL. The magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000 to $50,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 29, 2022.
