This is a Solicitation set aside to the VISN 21, MACC GROUP 2 IDIQ/MATOC Contract Holders to provide Construction Services to Install Fall Protection for a Parking Garage at Sacramento VA Medical Center Mather Campus, Mather, CA per the SOW, Specifications, and Drawings provided and attached. The Government intends to award a Task Order Procurement Request (TOPR) to an eligible VISN 21, MACC GROUP 2, MATOC/IDIQ Contract holder. Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract without conducting discussions with offerors; however, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussion if later determined to be in the best interest of the Government. The basis of an award is price only. This procurement is set-aside only for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB s) that are VISN 21, IDIQ MACC Group 2, contract holders. Any Offers received from other than VISN 21, IDIQ MACC Group 2 current contract holders will not be considered. All Offerors must be verified in SBA Veteran Small Business Certification (VETCert) Program as SDVOSB to be eligible for an award in VetCert Database at: Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov). An organized Site Visit is schedule for May 25, 2023 at 9:00 am (PST), see PowerPoint (attached). Background
The solicitation is an amendment to update the solicitation 36C26123R0072 by posting responses to all RFIs received, attaching as-built landscape drawings, and attaching a site visit sign-in sheet. The project is titled Y1LZ--VISN 21 MACC GROUP 2 INSTALL PARKING GARAGE FALL PROTECTION at Mather, CA for Project # 612A4-21-006. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is the issuing agency, and the project falls under NAICS 236220 with a construction magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The contract is a firm-fixed price construction requirement.

Work Details
The contractor is required to prepare the site, including demolition/removal/relocation of existing structures and/or utilities, and furnish all labor and materials necessary for the installation of physical fall deterrents to the existing reinforced-concrete parking structure at the VA Mather campus. The period of performance for construction is 180 days. The work must be performed during normal hours, Monday through Friday, between 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Construction must minimize interference with VA daily operations.
