Description

36C25724Q0048 - Renovate Canteen Dish Room
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to renovate the Canteen dish room located in Building 28 at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center in Amarillo, Texas. The purpose of this project is to remove wallpaper, patch and paint the dining area, and renovate the canteen dish room.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, supervision, and construction services necessary for the renovation of the Canteen Dish Room. The work includes:

- Removing wallpaper and painting the canteen dining area
- Renovating the canteen dish room by removing ceramic wall tile and replacing it with new tile
- Removing sheetrock and studs and replacing them with new ones
- Repairing floor drains and removing abandoned copper lines
- Coating flooring with epoxy coating
- Replacing electrical power outlet for Dish machine

The contractor will also be responsible for coordinating pre-award site visits and pre-construction meetings.

The contract will be performed at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center located at 6010 Amarillo Blvd. West, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
