Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) is soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build Expand SPD (Minor) Construction project at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. The project involves constructing in 2 phases, including building a Surgery Locker up on the 8th floor, extending elevator 11 up to the 8th floor, renovating SPS, and expanding into existing Surgery Locker Room.

Work Details
The work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, elevators and dumbwaiters, necessary removal of existing structures and construction. It also involves specific tasks such as revising Stair 14 enclosure, ceiling treatment, removing existing roofing system, providing new ceiling, floor and wall finishes, removing wall and spandrel panel at north wall Women’s Locker 6F-113B and providing privacy glass in existing aluminum windows with new solid surface sills.
Additionally, it includes providing stainless steel wall and ceiling panels for finish of specific rooms and providing lockers for designated areas.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall complete the entire project not later than 650 calendar days after receiving the NOTICE TO PROCEED.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center located at 921 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.
