Background
The Orlando VA Healthcare System is issuing this contract to create a Cardiovascular Center at Lake Nona, Florida. The goal of the contract is to enhance healthcare facilities for veterans by constructing a state-of-the-art cardiovascular center that includes various medical and support areas.

This project aligns with the agency's mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans.

Work Details
The work includes general construction and alterations necessary for civil, structural, fire suppression, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems as detailed in the specifications and drawings. Specific tasks include:
- Complete construction of the Cardiovascular Center at Lake Nona.
- Interior construction build-out of the East building expansion for Hybrid Cath Lab, EP Lab, and supporting rooms (Line Item 0001).
- Shelling of the East building expansion structure including exterior walls, fenestration, roof, and floors (Line Item 0002).
- Construction of a new Dignity Walk and loading zone along with associated landscaping (Line Item 0003). Each line item represents different scopes of work with deductive options depending on budget constraints.

Period of Performance
The entire project must be completed within 365 calendar days after the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed.
