Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build Construct Social Work Consolidated Clinic Space Construction project at the Northern California Healthcare System, Mather Campus, 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, California 95655 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project requires a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required for the construction of a Social Work Consolidated Clinic Space. The project involves the construction of a new 14,568 square feet, two-story structure for the consolidation of Social Work, Home Based Primary Care, and Home Telehealth support at the Mather VAMC. The work also involves, but not limited to, demolition and removal of existing structures. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation will be issued in February of 2022. The period of performance is approximately 489 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
