Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Florida/South Georgia Healthcare System in VISN 8 is seeking contractors for ongoing facilities construction, including new square footage construction, alterations, and repairs of buildings and structures.

This contract aims to support various VA facilities located in Florida, including Miami, Orlando, Gainesville, Lake City, West Palm Beach, Tampa, and Bay Pines. The goal is to ensure that these facilities meet the healthcare needs of veterans by providing necessary construction and maintenance services.

Work Details
The contract encompasses a wide range of construction tasks including civil, mechanical, plumbing, structural, electrical work, roofing, site work, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).

The work will be performed under task orders that may follow either design-bid-build or design-build methodologies. The maximum overall contract value for the life of this IDIQ MATOC is set at $3 billion. Construction projects will be performed at various locations within VISN 8 in Florida including Miami VA Healthcare System, Orlando VA Medical Center, Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Lake City VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital in Tampa, and C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center in Bay Pines.
