Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a solicitation for the project titled 'Replace PA System Building 163/204' at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facility in Temple, Texas. The project aims to replace the old failing Public Announcement (PA) system in Buildings 163 and 204, and create a fully integrated PA system throughout the entire buildings to allow for proper notifications.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for providing labor and materials to expand the partial Modern PA system, replacing the old failing PA system, and creating a fully integrated PA system throughout Buildings 163 and 204. The work includes providing and installing new and functional PA system components, obtaining all required permits, complying with federal, state, and local regulations, providing a safety plan according to OSHA and VA Regulations, conducting safety inspections, and complying with VHA Supplemental Contract Requirements for Combatting COVID-19.
The performance period for the project is 180 days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
