Background
This solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, Network Contracting Office 17. The mission of the agency is to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans.

The goal of this contract is to reconfigure the Outpatient Rehabilitation Medicine and Pharmacy services at the Olin E. Teague Veterans' Medical Center located in Temple, Texas.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the construction work as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) for project number 674-21-101.

The project involves renovating a single floor (basement) of building 163 to reconfigure spaces for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service and Outpatient Pharmacy Service. Key tasks include:
1. Reconfiguring electrical, mechanical, IT, Nurse Call, and other systems as specified in the construction documents.
2. Completing work in a phased manner where the new Outpatient Pharmacy must be operational before commencing work on the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service area.
3. Coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for any system disconnections or relocations at least 10 working days in advance.
4. Performing after-hours or weekend work as necessary with prior written approval from the VA-COR.
