Project No. 539-25-508 Correct Imaging Tower Deficiencies   2

Background
The chosen contractor shall provide complete construction services including labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to complete the 'Correct Imaging Tower Deficiencies' project for the Cincinnati VA Medical Center (VAMC). This project aims to address deficiencies by replacing the full roof above areas A2013 and A2016, replacing a lead-lined door in A2016 with a traditional double-door design, and enhancing cooling capacity within the CT equipment room A2016A.

Work Details
The project involves several specific tasks:
1. Full roof replacement above A2013 & A2016.
2. Replacement of a lead-lined door in A2016 with a traditional double-door that has a handicap pushbutton operator.
3. Installation of a ductless split system in CT control room A2016A with a cooling capacity of up to 30k BTU/HR.

The basis of design includes an 'Outdoor Unit Single Zone Heat Pump Ductless System' Model 38MARBQ30AA3 and a 'High Wall Heat Pump Ductless System' Model 40MAHBQ30XA3. The outdoor unit will be supported on two roof curbs, and installation must be coordinated with the roof replacement. The contractor is responsible for all necessary electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work to ensure compliance with specifications.

Period of Performance
All phases of work, including project closeout documentation, are to be completed within 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
Work will take place in and around the roof of floor 2 above areas A2013 & A2016 and floor 2 in Building #1 at the Cincinnati VAMC.
