Background
The project titled '614-20-109 Cooling Tower Replacement' is initiated by the Lt. Col. Luke J. Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN. The cooling tower and pumps have exceeded their useful life, leading to significant downtime and impact on operational capacity due to component failures.

This project is part of the NRM-Infrastructure Modernization initiative aimed at replacing the main cooling tower along with associated pumps to enhance operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, supervision, and quality control for the Cooling Tower Replacement project. The scope includes:
1) Replacement of the main cooling tower;
2) Replacement of condenser water pumps;
3) Replacement of primary and secondary chilled water pumps;
4) Provision of a temporary portable cooling tower to maintain capacity during the ordering and installation process.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 365 calendar days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Lt. Col. Luke J. Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center located at 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN 38401.
