Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the installation and testing of patient ceiling lifts as part of its mission to enhance healthcare services for veterans.
The goal of this contract is to provide necessary renovations and installations in hospital settings to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor must provide all designs, specifications, tools, materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary for the successful completion of the project.
The scope includes:
- Design: Develop designs and specifications for spaces being renovated for patient lift systems and repairs to areas not receiving new systems.
- Construction: Renovate patient rooms and spaces to accommodate new lift systems, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Installation: Provide and install patient lift systems in accordance with contract documents.

Period of Performance
The geographic location(s) the construction projects will be performed (if provided)

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at designated Veterans Administration Medical Centers.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns.
They are required to submit a bid guarantee of at least 20% of the bid price. Payment and performance bonds are also required upon award.
Bidders must provide evidence of relevant contractor licensing, bonding capacity, insurance coverage, and experience with similar healthcare construction projects.
