Description

DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall renovate sections of the 1st floor of Building 100 to update the main Kitchen areas per the provided design documents and specifications. Project No./Title: 516-15-105 Renovate Kitchen Building 100 Work Location: C.W. Bill Young Medical Center, located at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, Florida. Estimated Target Completion Period: 550 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Magnitude of this project: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 NAICS: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction (Size Standard is $39.5M) Product Service Code Y1DA This solicitation will use the trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 7, 2021. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Contract Opportunities website at https://beta.sam.gov. At the time of proposal submission, contractors must have current registration/certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the renovation of the main kitchen areas in Building 100 at the C.W. Bill Young Medical Center, located in Bay Pines, Florida. The goal of this contract is to modernize a 40-year-old kitchen infrastructure to support a transition to a room service model of meal delivery, thereby enhancing the variety of meals available to veterans during their stay.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform a complete renovation of the kitchen facilities in Building 100. This includes updating all main kitchen areas as per the provided design documents and specifications.
